Get Your Antiques Appraised

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Westborough.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Get your antiques appraised.

The Westborough Historical Society will sponsor "An Evening of Antiques and Collectibles Appraisal" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Westborough Public Library meeting room.

2.  Shoot free throws.

The Knights of Columbus' annual free throw competition is at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Mill Pond School.

3. Learn about special needs.

A “Special Needs Planning: Complex Problems, Simple
Solutions" workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston-Westborough. Admission is free.

4. Root for the Rangers.

Here is Monday's Westborough High School and Gibbons Middle School sports schedule:

  • Gibbons girls basketball: vs. Hudson, at Hudson High School, 3:45 p.m.
  • Freshman boys basketball: at Holy Name, 4 p.m.
  • Gibbons boys basketball: vs. Hudson, at Hudson High School, 4:45 p.m.
  • JV boys basketball: at Holy Name, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity boys basketball: at Holy Name, 7 p.m.
  • Varsity ice hockey: vs. Algonquin, at NorthStar Ice Sports, 7:30 p.m.
5. Learn about Caribbean resorts.

Travel Solutions in Westborough presents a free "Sandals and Beaches Caribbean Night" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Tatnuck Bookseller Event Room.
