Monday Essentials: Artists Sought For Westborough's Arts in Common

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Westborough.

1. Arts in Common seeks artists, volunteers. 

The Westborough Cultural Council seeks performers, artists, artisans and volunteers for the Fifth Annual Arts in Common, set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 28. For more information, visit the council's website.

3. Library rolls out the barrel.

Did you know that the Westborough Public Library is holding a new contest?

The winner gets a rain barrel donated by the Great American Rain Barrel Company. The deadline for entering at the circulation desk is Aug. 16.

4. Have you entered the triathlon?

There's still time to enter the 4th Annual Westborough Sprint Triathlon, which starts at 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 18 at Westborough State Hospital, off Lyman Street. 

5. The Westborough Zoning Board of Appeals discusses Westborough Woods.

The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Forbes Municipal Building Room 24. Westborough Patch has details on the developers' request.
