New Fire Station Reaches Planning Board

The board plans site plan review for Tuesday night.

Westborough's new fire station faces site plan review by the planning board next week.

The board will discuss the project, at 42 Milk St., at 8:50 p.m. in Forbes Municipal Building Suite 23, according to the agenda.

Voters at the Oct. 15 special town meeting authorized $11.2 million to design and construct the new station next to the current one at 42 Milk St., which will be demolished. Voters agreed to borrow $10,008,000 and allocate $1,200,000 from free cash.
