Saturday, Aug. 20

6:52 p.m.: Officers Dean Paine, Jeffrey Johnson and Laura Grasso responded to an incident on West Street. TAKEN INTO PROTECTIVE CUSTODY: Christopher P. McGavin, 59, 20 West St., Westborough.

Sunday, Aug. 21

8:47 p.m.: Officer Tyson Delong and Sgt. Chester Hallice investigated a crash on West Main St. ARRESTED: Paul Francis Nelson, 54, 32 Elmwood St., Millbury. CHARGES: Failure to stop/yield, negligent operation of motor vehicle, OUI liquor, no inspection sticker.

Tuesday, Aug. 23

1:15 a.m.: Officers Christopher Atchue and Michael Daniels responded to an incident on Turnpike Road. ARRESTED: Matthew M. Hopewell, 29, 25 Lexington Dr., West Boylston. CHARGES: Warrant arrest.

Thursday, Aug. 25

2:02 a.m.: Officer Christopher Atchue investigated a traffic situation on Otis Street. ARRESTED: Christopher A. Shaw, 30, 33 Hopkinton Rdl, Westborough. CHARGES: Possession of burglarious tools; possession of class E drug; possession of class E drug, subsequent offense; speeding, 60 mph in a 40 mph; failure by owner to have motor vehicle inspected.

Thursday, Aug. 26

9:58 p.m.: Sgts. Peter Goodney and Steven Reale responded to a report of a suspicious person on Turnpike Road. ARRESTED: Orlando Pacheco, 6 Venice St., Apt. #F5, Danvers. CHARGES: Operating under the influence of liquor per se.

Sunday, Aug. 28

1:24 a.m.: Officers Christopher Atchue, Ethan Hillman and Gregory McRae and Sgt. Todd Rossi investigated a suspicious automobile on Turnpike Road. ARRESTED: Matthew J. Brewer, 33, 74 Follette St., Grafton. CHARGES: Possession of class A drug, resisting arrest.
