Westboro Gallery Stops Selling Art

Fixtures will be for sale through this Saturday.

The Westboro Gallery isn't selling art anymore.

The not-for-profit downtown Westborough gallery hosted a special closing reception Saturday afternoon. Some of the artists attended it.

The event was the last time to buy art there.

The board members of the gallery at 8 West Main St. voted unanimously on Feb. 21 to close, Communications Director Holly Kenny has said. The cooperative has about 22 members, with as many as 25 during its history, she said.

Fixtures will be for sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday from March 24 to March 30, Kenny said.
