Hi Sharon,
I don't have personal experience killing yard fungi. Looking on the web removing the fruiting bodies before the spores mature is the most frequent suggestion. Removing the mulch (certainly the infested mulch) is also suggested. Lastly killing the area with bleach, hot liquid or fungicide is mentioned but not strongly recommended.
