Nancy has been a professional writer for over 25 years. Her journey began in retail advertising, followed by a 10-year stint at an ad agency. She got a taste of the corporate world as well, when she spent three years working as VP, Director of HR Communications at Citizens Financial Group in Providence, RI. Freelancing since 2005, Nancy's work spans many areas, including employment advertising/branding, internal marketing, web content, and executive communications. Nancy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Advertising and a Master's degree in communications. For five years, she served as board member for the Yankee Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and has earned various awards for her creative excellence.
On a personal level, she volunteers many hours... room parent, parent group board member, religious education teacher, Girl Scout leader, scholarship foundation founder/chairperson, active member *of In Your Shoes*. Also, she will never forget the two years she participated in Westborough's Relay for Life and personally raised over $7,800. When she's not working, volunteering or spending time with her family, photography and sports keep her busy.
Moving from Belmont in 1994, Nancy and her husband, John, kept going west until they found the perfect "starter home" in Westborough. It has since been deemed the "keeper home" and they are thoroughly enjoying raising their daughter here.
