Two Teens Charged in Car Break

The arrests happened today.

Two Westborough teenagers allegedly used Not Your Average Joe's gift cards stolen during one of the numerous motor vehicle break-ins this week, Police Chief Alan Gordon said. Police arrested the two youths this afternoon, when they were seen walking toward Target, shortly after the restaurant manager called police "reporting that the same individuals were back using another gift card," Gordon said in a press release. Police charged Damien R. Hughes, 19, of 19 Nash St., Westborough with receiving stolen property. A 16-year-old male residing at the Fountainhead Apartments, 293 Turnpike Road, also was charged with receiving stolen property. He is not being identified due to his age. Police Arrest Man for Multiple Car Break-ins

Police have arrested a man they believe is involved in break-ins in Marlborough, Hudson, Westborough, Sudbury, Shrewsbury, and Clinton.

Police have arrested a man they believe to be responsible for multiple car break-ins in Marlborough and many surrounding towns. "Mr. Carty also made statements which implicated him in similar crimes in other municipalities including Hudson, Westborough, Sudbury, Shrewsbury, and Clinton," according to a press release put out by Marlborough Police detailing the arrest. Police arrested Christopher Carty, 27, of 207 Lincoln Street Apt. 3 on Route 290 Westbound Thursday. The arrest followed an ongoing investigation which gave police information about a vehicle and suspect related to break-ins the area of the Rail Trail near Sasseville Way. Officers observed a vehicle fitting the description of suspect vehicle in the area of Sasseville Way. …
