The annual winter carnival was Saturday.
Some kids left the Westborough High School gymnasium on Saturday with their face painted. The WHS Student Council put smiles on them. The student council's annual winter carnival also offered a moon bounce and other activities for children.

The event was Saturday, in the upper parking lot.
Westborough High School's upper parking lot saw a steady stream of traffic Saturday. The WHS Student Council soaped, rinsed and dried vehicles for four hours, beginning in that morning's mist. The car wash was free. Donations were appreciated, though. The WHS Homecoming Festival is the next big community event, set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6.
