Malloy Presenting Budget Plan

Selectmen will hear it Tuesday night.

Westborough Town Manager Jim Malloy will present his proposed budget and capital plan to selectmen Tuesday night. The presentation is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. at Westborough Town Hall. The Westborough School Committee voted Dec. 19 to seek a 3.07 percent budget increase next year, which is less than the 3.67 percent initially recommended by Superintendent Marianne O'Connor. The $42,694,208 request does not include a new school transportation fee. Malloy is scheduled to review his budget with the advisory finance committee at 7:10 p.m. next Monday, Jan. 14 at town hall.
