Theft - Case No.  080531 Aug. 29, 2008 Citizens Bank in Shrewsbury. Case Details: Shrewsbury Police tell Mass Most Wanted that at 1:57 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2008, a roughly 45 to 50-year-old man entered the Citizens Bank on Route 9 in Shrewsbury and "passed (a) note making his demands." "The Suspect was wearing a light colored bicycle helmet, possibly silver on top, dark sunglasses, tan bandage on nose, fake mustache, red Nike t-shirt, black spandex shorts and a black messenger bag," Shrewsbury Police said. Twitter Note Leads to Help for Shrewsbury Girl

An Edmonton, Canada woman called Westborough Police early Wednesday after seeing the note. Police then contacted Shrewsbury Police.

WESTBOROUGH, MA -- A Shrewsbury teenager was taken to the hospital for evaluation Wednesday after two people contacted Westborough Police after seeing a suicide note she posted on Twitter on Tuesday night. A woman from Edmonton, Canada called Westborough Police at 2:14 a.m. Wednesday to report the note, which was posted around 10:13 p.m. Tuesday, Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon said today. The caller "did some research" and tracked the girl's cell phone number to a phone "issued out of a store in Westborough," Gordon said. Westborough Police also received an e-mail about the note through the department's website, he said. Westborough Police then worked with Verizon Wireless to identify the girl, he said. Wanted: Credit Card Theft Suspect

Theft - Case No. 120117 Feb. 8 Target Case Details: A pocketbook was stolen from a vehicle while that person worked at Price Chopper in Shrewsbury on Feb. 8. This suspect then used the victim's credit card at Target in Westborough, racking up more than $250 in charges. Anyone with information about the identity or location of this person is asked to call Westborough Police Detective Gary Hassett at 508-366-3060 or Shrewsbury Police Officer Pat Babin at 508-845-4681.
