Wegmans Recalls Salad, Pumpkin Rolls

The voluntary recall follows complaints by customers.

Wegmans shoppers, check your refrigerators and pantries. The grocery chain is recalling its Organic Spinach and Spring Mix salads because they may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria. The recall covers 5 ounce and 11 ounce packages sold between Oct. 14 and Thursday, according to WHDH. The store also recalled a batch of pumpkin rolls because they may contain pieces of sharp, clear plastic. The bakery pumpkin rolls were sold between Sept. 1 and Tuesday in all Wegmans stores. Packages contained whole rolls, half rolls or two slices. All are being recalled. Customers can get a refund at the service desk.
