Westborough Man Arrested for Northborough Break-In

The incident was reported early Saturday.

A Westborough man has been charged with breaking into a home in Northborough this weekend. Northborough Police on Saturday arrested Adam D. Boyce, 29, of 17 Westend Ave., Westborough, and charged him with wanton destruction of property over $250, and breaking and entering at nighttime for a felony. Northborough police responded to 44 Fisher St. in Northborough for a burglar alarm at 1 a.m. Saturday. Officer Jeremy Trefry found Boyce inside the home, and immediately arrested him. Police allege Boyce had kicked in the side entry door to get inside.  Boyce was later bailed to appear in Westborough District Court.

Police Investigating Car Breaks

Northborough and Westborough departments are looking into the incidents that happened over the weekend.

Northborough and Westborough Police together are investigating car breaks that happened in the towns over the weekend. Northborough Police said one car on Davis Street and the other on Tomahawk Drive were broken into between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. on Sunday. Cash and gift cards were stolen from the vehicle parked on Tomahawk Drive and cash, credit cards and identification documents were stolen from the car on Davis. "Both vehicles had been rummaged through," Northborough Police Lt. Bill Lyver said. "Items were found scattered about in the cars, on the driveways and along Davis Street." Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon said the incidents in Westborough were on Andrews Road and Brook Way.
