Found: One-Eyed Cat

Do you know this cat? She was found near the Westborough/Hopkinton border.

A Hopkinton woman contacted Westborough Patch this afternoon asking if we can help to find the owner of this one-eyed cat. "This little cat showed up at my door," said the Wood Street resident. "She is very emaciated and appears to have only one eye." The woman fed the cat and is taking her to the VCA Animal Hospital in Westborough at 2 p.m. If you are seeking this kitty, contact Anne at 508-435-6340.   Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date on the latest Westborough news, or simply hit the "like" button at the top of this page. Penny went missing near Sandra Pond.

Contributor Corner features items posted or submitted by our readers. We noticed this post by nancyarmitage and didn’t want you to miss it, so we’re highlighting it here. Submit your own announcements, and you, too, could be featured in this space.   Have you seen this cat? She is a calico with white feet, chest and belly; has orange patches on half her face and her ear. She disappeared on Tuesday, Jan. 17 on Bowman Street near Sandra Pond and has not been seen since. She is very friendly and may have strayed (we adopted her as a stray to begin with). Last seen proudly walking across the yard after a successful mouse hunt. Her 7-year-old owner misses "Penny" very much. If any information, please call 508-329-1365.   Follow us on Facebook…

Mystery of Missing Macie Uncovers Second Lost Cat

What started out as a search for one lost cat turned into the adoption of another.

Debbie Weidhaas of Westborough thought she discovered her Maine Coon cat, Macie, two months after she went missing. But what Debbie found was a lookalike in need of a home. “We put up signs around the neighborhood. Two weeks later, we got a call from a family about a quarter mile away saying that our cat has been visiting their yard frequently,” Debbie said. “We drove over to their home and showed them other pictures of Macie and they were sure it was her.” Debbie gathered Macie’s favorite treats and took them to the family who reported the cat’s location. The next day, Debbie drove by the house and saw a woman outside coaxing Macie with one of the treats. “I brought Macie home in disbelief, only to find out that it wasn’t our cat - …

Thoughts and prayers are with you to find your beloved Slinky. You will want to act quickly and keep calling him while walking around your neighborhood as you search. Bring his food (if he eats dry out of a box or canned food, shaking box or tapping can with a spoon while searching will help, as he is likely hungry). Have those in your family who respond to his voice search with you, as that will…   more ›

Have You Seen Molly?

The 17-year-old cat went missing in Westborough on Thursday afternoon.

Take a good look at Molly. She is a 17-year-old tabby cat that went missing in Westborough on Thursday afternoon. Her owners tell Westborough Patch that she walks with a limp and is thin. She is not wearing a collar. She was lost in the vicinity of West and Whitney streets. “We think she was probably spooked by the trick-or-treaters and lost her way,” said owner Anne Romaker. If you have any information about Molly, please contact Anne at 508-836-4308 or 508-330-9086.
