Letter: Gregoire Endorses Dodd for Selectman

The annual town election is March 5.

To the Editor: Tim Dodd is the perfect choice for Westborough selectman.  Tim has dedicated his career to the people of the Commonwealth and works every day to make his hometown a better place to live, work, and raise a family.  A lifelong resident of Westborough, Tim is currently serving his second three-year term on the board of selectmen and has brought expertise in local governance and policy as well as utilizing emerging technologies to provide residents with up to the moment information.   Tim brings a unique and often underutilized perspective to town office as a young, innovative selectman who puts his community first. He argues for efficiency in government and has worked hard to bring new ideas forward such as pie charts that show…

Emery Seeks Fourth Term

Incumbent selectman is the latest to take out nomination papers for the March 5 annual town ballot.

Incumbent Selectman Leigh Emery will seek a fourth 3-year term in March. Emery is the latest resident to take out nomination papers to get on the Tuesday, March 5 annual town ballot, according to the town clerk's office. Selectman Timothy Dodd, School committee members Stephen Doret and Bruce Tretter, and Library Trustee Helena Engberg also have taken out papers, which became available Monday. Each term is for three years. Residents have until 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 to take out papers. The deadline for filing papers signed by 50 registered voters with Yendriga for certification is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15. Ten offices are on the ballot: three 3-year terms on the trustees of the Westborough Public Library; two 2-year terms each on the board …

Town Election Season Starts Today

Nomination papers for the 10 offices on the ballot are available from the town clerk's office.

Westborough re-enters election mode today, less than one month after voting for state and federal leaders. Nomination papers for the Tuesday, March 5 annual town ballot become available this morning from the town clerk's office, at Westborough Town Hall, Town Clerk Nancy Yendriga said Sunday.
