Ministers in Westborough and throughout the country observe Ash Wednesday with the Ashes to Go program.
Some commuters at the Westborough and Grafton train stations carried on more than coffee and the newspaper this morning. In observance of Ash Wednesday, they were wearing ashes dispensed by local ministers through the Ashes to Go program. The program, which began five years ago, offers ashes to people at train stations and other busy areas. In Westborough, Rev. Jesse Abell of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and Rev. Robert Williams of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Millville offered ashes to commuters at the Westborough station on Smith Parkway. Rev.
