NorthStar Breaks Ground on New Ice
The third rink is slated to open this fall.
Grabbing shovels -- and hockey sticks -- NorthStar Youth Forum officials and their construction crew broke ground today for the site's third rink. The $4 million Rink C project is expected to open at 15 Bridle Lane on Labor Day weekend, Executive Director Denise Marco has said. A Nov. 30 grand opening is planned. Officials from Northborough's Dixon Inc. General Contracting, which is doing the project, participated in this morning's event. NorthStar will expand its programming when the rink opens.
