Costume Jewelry, $20 Taken in Flanders Road House Break

Westborough Police are investigating a reported Flanders Road house break on Tuesday night. Police Chief Alan Gordon said today that "some costume jewelry and $20" are missing. There were no signs of forced entry, Gordon said. The incident was reported at 6:10 p.m. The same residence was reported broken into last week, Gordon said. Suspect in April Westborough House Breaks Ordered Held on $10,000 Bail

Schuyler Gibson was arraigned today in Westborough District Court.

A suspect in two Westborough house breaks was ordered held on $10,000 cash bail following his arraignment in Westborough District Court today. Schuyler D. Gibson also was ordered to stay away from and have no contact with the victims. The rulings apply to both cases against Gibson, which were continued to Oct. 10 for a pre-trial hearing. Westborough Police charged Gibson, 28, with breaking and entering into a building during the daytime for a felony, and larceny over $250. The charges stem from an April 8 house break. Westborough Police are investigating a reported house break on Byard Lane. The residents were "away for a week and found their house broken into when they returned," Police Chief Alan Gordon said today. Police are unsure what was taken, he said. The incident was reported at 5:43 p.m. Sunday, according to the police log. Meanwhile, a vehicle was keyed while the driver was watching a movie at the Regal Cinemas 12 on Turnpike Road on Sunday, Gordon said. Inmate Facing Charges in Westborough House Break

Westborough Police say his fingerprints match those found at the scene.

An inmate serving time for Westborough house breaks will be charged in an April 17 break on Edward Dunn Way, because his fingerprints matched those found at the scene, Westborough Police said today. Schuyler D. Gibson, 28, was living at 39 Vernon St., Worcester at the time of the break-in, police said in a press release. The Edward Dunn Way residents "discovered the house broken into and a large amount of valuables were stolen," according to the release. State Police processed evidence from Westborough Police detectives, police said. The State Police Crime Lab confirmed that fingerprints from the scene matched those belonging to Gibson, police said.
