Just excellent! Excellent service, excellent food, excellent relaxing atmosphere. Just wish they'd take credit cards instead of just cash and checks. Strange that there are 2 diners right next to each other, but I'd choose this one in a heartbeat. Great coffee and generous portions too!

I have always like south street diner, but the last experience this week was disappointing. We ended up around 11:30 on Sunday looking for brunch. My wife and I ordered omelettes and my kids ordered from the kids menu (a mickey mouse pan cake and a kids golfer). My kids made sure they will not have any meat in their food when they ordered. We waited about 20 minutes before our food showed up with meat. Of Course they replaced the kids golfer and we moved the bacon of the pancake.
A little while later, a kind lady stopped to ask how we were doing and if there is anything we need. I asked for some jelly for the toast and in her rush she forgot about it.
I am writing this review not to give a bad image, but hoping that the restaurant reads it and makes amends. I sure hope to visit soon and have a much pleasant experience the next time around.
