Santa Arrives in Westborough on Sunday

The annual tree lighting presented by the Rotary Club of Westborough will be held at the rotary beginning at 5 p.m.

The annual tree lighting presented by the Rotary Club of Westborough will be held at the rotary beginning at 5 p.m., event chairman Adam Boyce said Wednesday.

Westborough High School students will sing Christmas carols from 5 to 5:30 p.m., Boyce said.

"A local church will be handing out hot chocolate and cookies as well," he added.

About 300 people are expected at Sunday's festivities, Boyce said.

Additional sponsorship from Carruth Capital, the Westborough Civic Club and Roche Bros. is helping support the tree lighting, he noted.
