Got Styrofoam? Dispose of it on Saturday

Westborough's 2013 Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Day is from 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Got leftover Styrofoam? Or antifreeze? Or spot remover?

Westborough's 2013 Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Day is from 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the DPW facility at 133 Oak St.

The effort is for only Westborough residents, who should bring their driver's license, according to a flyer on the town's website.

Disposing of the items is free, "unless you have an unusually large quantity from one household," the flyer notes.

New this year are:

  • Latex paint won't be accepted.
  • Prescription medication will be collected by Westborough Police at the event
  • Household sharps, such as needles, won't be accepted.
