Westborough ZBA Hears Chick-Fil-A Variance

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Westborough.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1.  Hear about Chick-Fil-A.

The Westborough Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on a variance request from Chick-Fil-A at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the Westborough Public Library.

2.  Westborough selectmen will discuss the tax rate.

The board's annual tax classification public hearing is at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday at the Forbes Municipal Building.

3. Reflect on Thanksgiving.

The Westborough Interfaith Thanksgiving Eve Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at St. Luke the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 70 West Main St. Members of the Westborough clergy are expected to speak.

4. Enjoy Thanksgiving football.

Westborough and Algonquin play their traditional Thanksgiving Day football game, at 10:15 a.m. at Algonquin. Looking for tickets? They're available at the WHS main office next Monday through Wednesday, during school hours, for $5. Tickets are available at the game for $10.

5. Buy a Christmas tree.

The Westborough Civic Club's annual Christmas tree sale starts at 8 a.m. (sales start at 9) Saturday at the Tufts Machine Lot on Route 30.
