Monday Essentials: Library Carpet Project is This Week

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Westborough.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Blog about Westborough High School happenings.

Westborough Patch has launched a blog devoted to Rangers news and sports. Learn more here.

2. Ebenezer Parkman's birthday party is on Monday.

The Congregational Church of Westborough will hold a cookout and have a birthday cake after the 10 a.m. Monday service.

3. The Westborough Public Library's main floor is closed this week, although the rest of the building is open.

The floor is getting a new carpet.

4. Root for the Rangers.

Here is Monday's Westborough High School sports schedule:

  • Varsity field hockey: vs. Quabbin, 4 p.m.
  • JV volleyball: vs. Medway, 5:15 p.m.
  • Freshman volleyball: vs. Medway, 5:15 p.m.
  • JV field hockey: vs. Quabbin, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity volleyball: vs. Medway, 6:30 p.m.
5. Attend St. Luke's Family Fun Day.

St. Luke the Evangelist Parish will hold a Family Fun Day from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. The event will be held rain or shine.
