Community Corner

Nominate a Volunteer!

Do you know a person that opens their heart, shares their voice, and lends their muscle to make a difference in a community or nonprofit organization?

In the MetroWest/495 Corridor region, there are over 10,000 volunteers that annually share over 400,000 hours to help others. Volunteers in our area have saved over a quarter of a million dollars in operating costs of struggling nonprofits serving those in need. The value to organizations like these is priceless in terms of driving success, innovation, opportunity and hope.

Please take a moment to honor a dedicated volunteer by nominating them for the 2012 MetroWest/495 Corridor Volunteer of the Year Award. Finalists and the winner will be recognized at the United Way’s Community Recognition Event on April 30.
