Summer Time = Sushi Time

I was craving sushi the other day....

I travel down Rt 9 everyday and have always noticed Tenka Asian Bistro & Hibachi on the right hand side heading to Worcester. I have actually attended a few classes at the Bikrim Yoga place in the same complex. From the outside Tenka looks small so I always thought it was a take out place. NOT TRUE! It is actually very big inside. Check out my pictures.

My experience at Tenka Asian Bistro & Hibachi was so good I just had to share.

I was able to meet the owner Kevin. He was so involved with staff and patrons that I pulled him aside to find out more. I am a talker. Kevin told me a bit about himself and that he lives in Westborough with his 2 sons and wife. I told him, "O, so you are local!" He nodded and continued to tell me that his career has given him 22 years of experience in the restaurant industry and Tenka has been cranking for almost 3 years. I can tell he has a lot of pride for his business by how clean and efficient the restaurant was. I ordered some sushi and sashimi. I would recommend the (classic) spicy tuna and the Godzilla Roll. Both were FRESH. I commented on the taste and Kevin told me every other day he gets fish right from the docks in Boston!

As I was finishing up my meal Kevin came back to talk more. He turned, in a Vanna White-esk way, to point out his new bar. He told me the expansion of the bar area has been a great way to boost Happy Hour. We had a giggle and I asked about the menu and all he has to offer here.

I can see that Tenka Asian Bistro & Hibachi has something for everyone! Need a place for a party? Get a group together for Hibachi. Looking for a cool fix and fresh fish - like me - come in for their sushi menu. Are you looking for a Happy Hour spot? They have an awesome menu. 5$ Bar Menu! Awesome.

I can certainly see myself coming back for lunch. Kevin and I became fast friends and he advised me that in the winter the Hibachi gets very busy. I snapped a few photos and was back to work.

Thank you Kevin for your hospitality! I will be back.
