The Westborough High School golf team placed tied for sixth at the Fall 2013 Division 1 Central Mass. Qualifying Tournament, held Tuesday at the Juniper Hills Golf Course, according to the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association website.
The Rangers' final score was 318, tied with North Middlesex. St. John's was the champion, with a score of 285. Algonquin was second, with a score of 308. Wachusett was third, with a score of 311.
Scoring for Westborough were: Nic Ross, 77; Jeff Arnold and Sam DiOrio, 79 each; Sam Lehman, 83; Gavin Wilsker, 86; and Jack Pierce, 89.
