Westborough Youth Football and Cheer 8th Graders Defeat Shrewsbury
The Westborough teams will play Worcester 2 on Saturday.
The Westborough Youth Football & Cheer Program started its season last Sunday against Shrewsbury.
Mitey Mites, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7 and Grade 8 played at Westborough High School.
The scores were:
- Grade 4 - Shrewsbury 28, Westborough 7
- Grade 5 - Shrewsbury 26, Westborough 0
- Grade 6 - Shrewsbury 20, Westborough 0
- Grade 7 - Shrewsbury 29, Westborough 14
- Grade 8 - Westborough 28, Shrewsbury 12
All Westborough Youth Football and Cheer teams will play Worcester 2 on Saturday at 81 Providence St., Worcester.
The schedule is: 9 a.m., Mitey Mites; noon, Grade 4; 1:30 p.m., Grade 5; 3 p.m., Grade 6; 4:30 p.m., Grade 7; 6 p.m., Grade 8.
