A Westborough Youth Cheer team will end its season in Orlando, Fla. this weekend.
Competing in the nationals.
The D13 team qualified for Saturday's national competition after advancing from the Nov. 24 New England Regionals at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence.
The cheerleaders leave for Florida on Wednesday, Westborough Youth Cheer Director Jessica Meleski said Tuesday.
Westborough will be among four teams competing in its division, she said.
"It's pretty big for the program, in its second year, to have a cheer team headed to the nationals," she said.
The Westborough roster includes: Anoushka Batra, Carissa DaSilva, Jessica Freed, Courtney O'Connell, Rebekah Sager, Cassidy Shannon, Kyra Stupik, Ashley Taylor and Janie Underhill. The head coach is Tina DaSilva, and the assistant coach is Dustie Shannon.
"They've put the small town of Westborough on the map."
