Last week’s snowstorm postponed the New England Revolution 2014 Rev Girl Finals but they will be held on Feb. 19.
One of the contestants, Adrianna Coelho of Westborough, hopes to make the promotional team this week.
According to the team, 12 women from around the region have made it to the final round of auditions. Six will participate in the Boston finals and three will then be chosen. Three were chosen from Rhode Island last week.
The event will take place at The Greatest Bar on Friend Street in Boston from 9 to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19.
Judges for the event include Ben Kichen, a WEEI producer and SoccerCast host; Amanda Narciso, the 2013 Miss Massachusetts of the Miss America Organization; Kayla Harrison, a 2012 Olympic Judo Gold Medalist, and Melissa of Hot 96.9FM radio host
Sophia Goulet, the entertainment reporter/host at NESN Dirty Water TV, will be the emcee.
“Fans are encouraged to come out and cheer on their favorite finalist to help the judges make their selections,” according to Danielle Rines, the marketing coordinator for the team.
The Rev Girls make promotional appearances for the team around New England and also attend charity and community events. Participates are at least 18, love soccer and sports, and have previous experience either modeling, cheering, or dance performance.
Other Boston finalists include Allison Bergeron of Nashua, NH, Brandi Bishop of Medford, Lauren Laperriere of Gardner, Alexandra Paz of Chestnut Hill, Michelle Spiry of Sturbridge, and Jennifer Swain of Concord.
