Westborough Furniture Maker Gave Yankee Stadium a Fenway Touch

Mike Fitzpatrick made tables for a businessman's memorabilia display -- using David Ortiz's bats as legs.

While the Boston Red Sox aren't in the upcoming American League playoffs, a Westborough furniture maker has left a Fenway Park touch at the new Yankee Stadium.

Mike Fitzpatrick built three small tables and three large ones using David Ortiz's bats as legs, according to multiple reports.

The tables are for a businessman who wanted to display memorabilia during some opening events at the Yankees' new home on April 13, 2009.
