Rangers Boys Soccer Remains Undefeated

Westborough hosts Wachusett at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The Westborough High School varsity boys soccer team remains undefeated after winning its home opener, 3-1, over Shrewsbury on Thursday.

Senior tri-captain Brendan Goodliffe led the 4-0 Rangers with two goals, while fellow senior tri-captain Carter Reynolds added an assist, head coach John Hillier said. The other goal came on an own goal.

Junior Ethan Melia scored for Shrewsbury, Hillier said.

Westborough hosts Wachusett at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
