Rangers Boys Soccer Qualifies For Districts

Westborough is 8-1-2 after defeating Groton-Dunstable on Tuesday.

The Westborough High School varsity boys soccer team qualified for the districts on Tuesday by defeating host Groton-Dunstable, 3-0.

Senior tri-captain Steven Frame, and seniors Carlos Macario and Tyler Slicklen scored for the Rangers, who are 8-1-2 this season, head coach John Hillier said.

Frame and senior Ethan Peterson earned assists, Hillier said.

Sophomore keeper Griffin Barry earned his fifth shutout, recording six saves.

Westborough next travels to Marlborough at 7 p.m. Thursday.
