Rangers Boys Soccer Climbs Past Wachusett

Senior Ethan Peterson scored twice as the Westborough High School varsity boys soccer team defeated visiting Wachusett, 3-1, on Tuesday.

Senior Tyler Slicklen also scored for the Rangers, who remain undefeated (5-0), head coach John Hillier said.

Seniors Cian Merritt and Jamie Plowman each had an assist, Hillier said.

Mike Baker scored for Wachusett, assisted by Jon Isperduli. he said.

Peterson had scored 27 seconds into the game, assisted by Merritt.

Baker's goal in the 44th minute tied the score at 1-1.

Slicklen scored the eventual game-winner three minutes later.

Westborough hosts Groton-Dunstable at 4 p.m. Thursday.
