Westborough School Choirs Share Stories Through Song

The Choral Collage concert was held Thursday night.

The choral ensembles from Westborough's Mill Pond School, Gibbons Middle School and Westborough High School got a little help from their friends Thursday night.

Their audiences.

The Westborough Performing Arts Department's Choral Collage concert, "Stories Through Song," was performed twice in WHS' Charlotte C. Spinney Auditorium.

The audience joined the combined choirs for John Lennon and Paul McCartney's "Let it Be" and for "Over the Rainbow," from "The Wizard of Oz."

The concert opened with the sixth grade chorus performing "La Violette," a French Acadian folk song.

The choirs were led by conductors Alyson Greer Espinosa, Sonia Rose and Joseph Stillitano. Greer Espinosa, Rose and Judy Ellis accompanied the choirs on piano.

Westborough Coordinator of Fine Arts David Jost gave the opening remarks.
