Westborough School Chief Working on Level-Funded Budget
The school board plans a Dec. 11 public hearing on next year's proposed school budget, with discussion on Dec. 18.
Westborough School Superintendent Marianne O'Connor has begun preparing a level-funded budget proposal for next year.
O'Connor told the school committee Wednesday night that she and Director of Finance and Administration Irene Oliver have made it "very clear with all the principals that we were level funding."
The school board plans a Dec. 11 public hearing on next year's proposed school budget, with discussion on Dec. 18.
O'Connor's budget presentations to the board will be on Nov. 13, Nov. 20 and Nov. 26.
The board plans to send its request to the board of selectmen and the advisory finance committee on Dec. 20.
