State's School Report Cards Issued

WHS, Gibbons and Mill Pond have great 'school percentile scores.' The state did not evaluate the K-3 schools this way.

Westborough High School and Gibbons Middle School each are performing better than 95 percent of their class in Massachusetts, Westborough Assistant School Superintendent Dr. Daniel Mayer says.

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's 2012 school report cards also have the Mill Pond School performing better than 87 percent of Massachusetts schools serving grades four through six, Mayer told the school committee last Wednesday night.

Schools serving Kindergarten to grade three did not receive such a "school percentile score," Mayer said.
