Experienced Architect Named Westborough School Grounds Director
George Delegas met the school committee Monday night.
The Westborough public schools' new facilities director is a professional architect with experience with school building projects.
New Director of Buildings and Grounds George Delegas met the school committee Monday night.
Delegas has been a principal and "head of (the) architectural practice responsible for the educational market sector" for Fletcher Thompson in Boston since 2011, according to his resume.
Before that, he spent two years as the senior architect for the Maguire Group in Boston, where he "oversaw project teams of architects and engineers on various K-12 projects," his resume notes.
In Westborough, Delegas succeeds Brian Schlegel, who left on July 31 for a similar post in Concord.
