Do You Know School Closing Procedures for Westborough Public Schools?

With colder -- and snowy -- days likely ahead, can Westborough school closings be far behind?

Wondering how School Superintendent Marianne O'Connor decides whether to delay or close school due to inclement weather?

"I start the day at about 4:45 and first call DPW, then I am on the phone (ususually more than once)  with area superintendents," O'Connor said Tuesday.

"I check back in with DPW for a final decision  and then call the local TV radio stations, followed up with a ConnectED call to all faculty and parents.

"All of this has to take place by 6 a.m. so faculty do not start their journey into town."
