2014 Yearbook to Highlight Seniors' Community Efforts

Ordering information is available on the yearbook staff's website.

Dodgeball photos will be on a page in Westborough High School's 2014 yearbook.

That's because the yearbook will include "a specific page for things our class has started," staff member Margo Murphy said.

"We did an annual dodgeball tournament that our class officers put together that will hopefully continue after we leave, because it was really successful and it brought all the grades together. We all formed our own teams and competed against each other.

"And then, two people in our grade, the vice president and president, did a Westborough Rangers Give Back Day that they started with the athletic director. They're trying to plan another one."

The 2014 yearbook is available for $80 ($85 after Oct. 31). Ordering information is available on the yearbook staff's website.

"We're doing a very bold and vibrant yearbook," said Fiona Callahan, one of the editors.

"The front cover is a huge 1-4 with all different neon triangles. And really trying to stand out, because we think our year is the best."

Businesses have been advertising in the yearbook, Callahan said.

Murphy said the yearbook will be about 270 pages.

"We wanted to express what our grade is," Murphy added.

"Our grade is very involved in the plays, sports, extra activities. All of us have jobs and other things outside of school that we do and participate in that we want to highlight."
