Senate Election is Just 1 Week Away

Here is the specimen ballot, courtesy of the town clerk's office.

Westborough's town clerk's office is preparing for next week's special election to fill the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by John Kerry’s appointment to Secretary of State.

Westborough's polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. next Tuesday, June 25, Town Clerk Nancy Yendriga said Monday.

Precincts 1 and 3 will vote in the Gibbons Middle School gym. Precinct 2 will vote in the Hastings Elementary School gym. Precincts 4 and 5 will vote in the Mill Pond School gym.

Republican Gabriel Gomez will face Democrat Edward Markey.

Residents are asked to call the town clerk’s office at 508-366-3020 with questions.
