Wind Knocks Down 2 Power Lines on Sunday

Sunday's strong winds knocked down two power lines in Westborough that afternoon, according to the Westborough Fire Department.

The incidents were reported at 12:21 p.m., at 24 West St., and at 2:48 p.m., at 12 Denfeld Drive, according to the Westborough Fire log.

At 10:46 p.m., firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on the Mass. Pike.

At 11:04 p.m., EMS responded to 223 Charlestown Meadows Drive.

On Sunday, at 8:49 a.m., firefighters responded to 16 Rev Thomas Hooker Road for what proved an unintentional smoke detector activation.

At 9:08 a.m., firefighters responded to 20 Thomas Newton Drive for what proved a carbon monoxide detector malfunction.

At 11:16 a.m., EMS responded to 163 West Main St.

At 2:41 p.m., firefighters responded to a motor vehicle-pedestrian accident at 180 Milk St.

At 7:09 p.m., firefighters responded to 19 Connector Road for a smoke scare.

At 8:04 p.m., EMS responded to 155 Milk St., Unit 23.

At 10:43 p.m., firefighters responded to 17 Connector Road for what proved a malicious false alarm.

On Monday, at 3:38 a.m., EMS responded to 38 Mill Road.
