Today, we answer this emailed inquiry, from Wednesday night:
"There was a car stopped facing the wrong way on Route 9 at the Lyman Street intersection eastbound side today around 5 p.m. There was a man running across Route 9 with a naked woman chasing him. Have you heard this or have any more info?"
Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon replies:
"It was a woman with psychiatric issues. She was heading the wrong way and crashed into the jersey barrier and then she ran from the car. She only removed her blouse. She was transported to UMass on a Sec.12 psych commitment."
