Westborough Resident Allegedly Strikes Same Person Twice, Hours Apart

The following information was supplied by Westborough Police. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Westborough resident allegedly struck someone twice on Saturday -- the second time happening after Westborough Police arrested her in the first incident.

Dimple J. Mistry, 40, of 135 East Main St., Apt. R1 is being held without bail until her arraignment Tuesday in Westborough District Court, Police Chief Alan Gordon said Monday.

Police arrested Mistry and charged her with domestic assault and battery after responding to a reported domestic assault on East Main at 8:09 a.m., according to the Westborough Police log.

Mistry was released from the police station on personal recognizance, Gordon said.

She then allegedly returned to East Main Street, where she allegedly again struck the same person, who had been "trying to leave to get a hotel somewhere but was unable to do so because all of the hotels in the area were full," Gordon said.

Police arrested Mistry at 12:48 p.m., and charged her with domestic assault and battery.
