Westborough Police to Offer Free Gun Safety Locks

After Dec. 14, Westborough Police will have free gun safety locks available to residents "so they can secure their weapons safely," Gordon told Westborough selectmen Tuesday night.
Gordon said he funded the locks with drug forfeiture money.
Westborough Police are working in conjunction with Northborough and Worcester Police on the Dec. 14 program, Gordon said.
Dec. 14 is the anniversary of the Newtown, Conn. tragedy, he noted.
The social action committee of Congregation B'nai Shalom in Westborough is working with Worcester Police to get gift cards to be distributed at the Worcester facility, Gordon said.
