On Sept. 22, a woman mistakenly left her purse behind on a counter at Marshalls, in the Westborough Shopping Center, police tell Westborough Patch.

"She returned to get her purse a couple of minutes later to find it was gone," police say.
A store video shows a woman wearing a dark shirt, her hair in a bun, "and carrying a purse that has a dark pattern with light outlines," police say.
She was "accompanied by a male wearing baggy jeans, white checkered long sleeve shirt, red baseball hat and a large bushy pony tail," police say. No one saw the male committing a crime.
