Two Arrested in Westborough Apartment Jewelry Thefts

The thefts happened during three Aug. 11 break-ins at the Park Village Apartments.

Westborough Police have made two arrests in three Aug. 11 break-ins and jewelry thefts at the Park Village Apartments -- where one of the suspects resides.

Adam Schofield, 25, of 31 Gibbon St., Marlborough was charged with three counts of breaking and entering a dwelling and larceny, police said Friday in a press release.

Shanna Hall, 35, of 135 East Main St., Westborough was charged with receiving stolen property.

Westborough Police Det. Steven Tompkins identified Schofield and Hall as the suspects while working with Marlborough Police, according to the Westborough Police press release.

Police interviewed both suspects.

"Numerous pieces of jewelry" were stolen during the Aug. 11 incidents at Park Village, at 135 East Main St., the press release states.

Tompkins has identified which pawn shop bought the jewelry, and "attempts to retrieve the property are under way," police said.

Schofield and Hall face arraignment at Westborough District Court at a later date, Police Chief Alan Gordon said.
