UPDATE: Truck Jammed Under Railroad Bridge

At 10:30 a.m., CSX reportedly told police that officials are heading to the bridge to evaluate the train rails on top of the bridge.

 

UPDATE, Feb. 9, 11:00 a.m.: According to scanner reports, the truck has now been moved from the roadway and police are leaving the area. The has also been asked to reset the traffic lights at Bay State Common.

UPDATE, Feb. 9, 10:30 a.m.: has reported to Westborough police that a company official will be on scene shortly to inspect the rail from the top of the bridge.

A tow truck is standing by on Willow Street while police determine how best to pull the truck from under the bridge.

Feb. 9, 10:20 a.m.: A tractor trailer truck heading into Westborough on East Main Street crashed into the railroad bridge shortly after 10 a.m. The truck is wedged under the bridge and police are at the scene.

requested help from the Massachusetts State Police and a local towing company. A request to alter the lights at Bay State Commons was also made.

According to scanner reports, the truck is empty and the driver is a 28-year-old man from Quebec.
