Theft Reported at Staples

Westborough Police are investigating a theft at Staples at the Westborough Shopping Center on Tuesday.

"We are waiting for them to perform an inventory plus look at their surveillance tapes to see what was stolen," Police Chief Alan Gordon said Wednesday.

"They believe it was some type of Apple product."

The incident was reported at Staples, at 18 Lyman St., at 11:25 a.m., according to the Westborough Police log.

At 1:54 a.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road of a burglar alarm, which proved accidental.

At 5:35 p.m., police received a report from East Main Street of a motor vehicle accident with property damage.

At 5:37 p.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road of a hit-and-run accident.

At 6:14 p.m., police received a report from East Main Street of a motor vehicle accident with property damage.

At 6:17 p.m., police received a report from Bowman Street of suspicious activity.

At 10:22 p.m., police received a report from Technology Drive of a motor vehicle break-in.
