Teen Charged with Selling ‘Obscene’ Pictures of Middle School Girls

Westborough Police found out about the criminal activity last week.

A 15-year-old freshman at Westborough High School is facing a charge of disseminating obscene material of a minor after allegedly selling "inappropriate" pictures of middle-school girls to other students.

In a statement, Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon said police were informed of the situation last week.

According to the investigation into the allegations, in November 2013, three middle-school girls at the Gibbons Middle School reportedly took “inappropriate pictures of themselves” and sent them around the Internet.

In the process of the photos being circulated, a 15-year-old freshman at the high school received the photos and allegedly began selling them to other students, according to an investigation by School Liaison Officer Charles Dapolite.

Gordon said the teen would be summoned to Worcester Juvenile Court “at a later date,” and charged with disseminating obscene material of a minor.
