State: Murder Suspect Mazzaglia Wanted to Kill Witnesses

Mazzaglia is charged with killing UNH student, Westborough resident Lizzi Marriott.

Seth Mazzaglia, who's accused of murdering a University of New Hampshire student last year, planned to kill two witnesses in the case, prosectors said.

WMUR-TV reported Mazzaglia wrote letters to his former girlfriend detailing the plan, which included him escaping to another country.

Mazzaglia is accused of killing student and Westborough resident Elizabeth Marriott during an encounter at his Dover apartment in October of 2012.

Police said Mazzaglia dumped Marriott's body into the Piscataqua River off Peirce Island in Portsmouth. Her remains have not been found.
